Literary scholar says goodbye

Closing event on 14 October, 8 pm, Weltecho

On Monday, 14 October at 8 pm, Stefan Hornbach, the second literature scholarship holder of the City of Chemnitz, will bid farewell to the Chemnitz city society with an event entitled "Wo liegt Glamnitz?" at Weltecho, Annaberger Straße 24.
The event is open to the public. Admission is free.

Representatives of the media are also invited.

"Where is Glamnitz?" is an adventurous evening with Stefan Hornbach, Savannah Jones and many top-secret accomplices. What do you look for in Chemnitz in vain? What would you miss elsewhere? If Chemnitz were a spaceship, would you get on board?
Stefan Hornbach, writer and the city's second literature scholarship holder, follows in the footsteps of Glamnitz* and digs for unexpected glimmers of light. He interviews experts, reviews T-shirt slogans, leaks secret studies, founds a newspaper or band and initiates a transformation. Let's find love in a hopeful place.

Stefan Hornbach lives in Chemnitz from the beginning of April to mid-October 2024. He addressed the following questions to Chemnitz city society:
1. what are you looking for in Chemnitz so far in vain?
2. what would you miss elsewhere?
3. where in Chemnitz is glamour*?
* in the sense of glamour, glitter, weird beauty, lust, whimsy, extravagance.
