On Tuesday, 29 April, from 5.30 to 7 p.m., interested parties are invited to a lecture by Chemnitz photographer Michael Backhaus at the Environmental Centre, Henriettenstraße 5.
Michael Backhaus' photographic works provide fascinating insights into various areas of life at a time when Chemnitz was still known as Karl-Marx-Stadt. In his lecture, he will show a selection of photographs from the years 1969 to 1989, after which he would like to enter into a dialogue with the participants.
