Liddy-Ebersberger-Straße play and leisure centre - refurbishment completed
The public play and leisure facility on Liddy-Ebersberger Straße in Gablenz has been completed after a construction period of around six months and was opened for use this week.
The football pitch has been extended to include a streetball court and a table tennis table. In addition, two graffiti walls were erected in the newly designed area and two benches and a litter bin were added.
Construction began on 28 October 2019 and final acceptance took place on 5 May 2020. The total costs for planning, construction and planting services as well as the manufacture and installation of the play equipment amounted to approx. 92,000 euros.
The new facility was planned by JACOB + BILZ Landschaftsarchitekten. The firm was also commissioned to supervise the construction work. The landscaping work was carried out by Gruenbau Ltd.
