Library lab at the city library celebrates its birthday
Music theme day on 21 May from 2 to 6 p.m. at the TIETZ
On Saturday, 21 May, from 2 to 6 p.m., BibLab-C, the Chemnitz Library Laboratory, invites you to a themed music day at the Central Library in the TIETZ. The occasion is the inauguration of the new project area a year ago.
Admission is free of charge. The programme is aimed at children, young people, adults and families who enjoy experimenting, building and composing with sound and learning more about it.

Discover 3D printing - building instruments
What: Build cool instruments from 3D printed parts and play different sounds in no time at all.

Heimatmelodie and Vinylkarussell live from the BibLab-C - with concert!
What: In addition to live music and music from favourite records, there will be informal talks - and all this as a live broadcast on the radio. The Chemnitz band Solche will be playing from 5pm.

Make your own musical instruments from waste
What: Use waste and simple household materials to make your own creative and melodious instruments. You should bring a piece of waste from home that is clean and not sharp-edged.

What: Accompany Tropfi the little drop of water on his journey through the water cycle and accompany his exciting adventure story with homemade sounds.
