On Friday, 14 February at 7 pm, interested parties are invited to a joint concert by the adult students of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School in the concert hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1.
Admission costs 3 euros for adults, 2 euros for trainees, students and people with disabilities and 1.50 euros for people with a Chemnitz Pass, children and school pupils. Tickets are available at the box office.
"You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Numerous adult pupils from the Municipal Music School will prove the opposite in this joint concert, which will take place as part of the Capital of Culture year.
They will demonstrate their skills in ensemble and orchestral playing as well as solo performances. There will be piano, clarinets, cellos, ukuleles, percussion and singing.
The audience can expect a multi-faceted programme ranging from classical music to film music and pop.
The music students want to encourage people to learn an instrument regardless of their age. It's fun, keeps you fit and opens up new horizons - because: You never stop learning.
