Leisure activities for children & young people during the summer holidays
In recent months, children and young people have been particularly affected by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic: Lack of exercise, lack of leisure activities, closed sports grounds, no club sports, etc. The upcoming summer holidays will probably also be spent at home for the most part.
In order to make this time as pleasant and entertaining as possible, the Chemnitz City Sports Association, together with the sports youth and sports clubs, is offering holiday activities for children and young people. Some of these are free of charge and are not exclusively aimed at children and young people who are members of a club, but also at those who are not yet members of a sports club. The participation fees are set by the respective clubs themselves.
In return, the city of Chemnitz makes municipal areas and sports facilities available to users free of charge. Activities also take place in club sports centres. The additional leisure activities are publicised on the SSBC e. V. homepage and in the City of Chemnitz events calendar.
