Lecture evening at the nature conservation centre on the ground nesting project

This year's first lecture evening in the programme of monthly events of the voluntary nature conservation service will take place on Tuesday, 22 January at 5 pm in the citizens' room of the nature conservation station at Adelsbergstraße 192. The topic of the lecture by Alexander Eilers from the Friends of the Saxon Ornithological Centre Neschwitz e. V. is the ground nesting project of the Free State of Saxony. The project was initiated to protect bird species that breed on the ground and are therefore endangered by the use of modern agricultural technology. The project aims to raise awareness of the bird species and their way of life and thus counteract their endangerment.

Nature conservation helpers and all other citizens interested in the topic are cordially invited to the event - admission is free.

The Chemnitz-Adelsberg nature conservation centre can be reached by tram line 5 to the Pappelhain stop and by car via Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße.
