Lecture: Birdlife in Chemnitz throughout the year - observe, recognise, protect

On Tuesday 22 October at 5 pm, the Environment Agency invites you to a lecture entitled "The bird world in Chemnitz throughout the year - observe, recognise, protect". The speaker will be Jens Börner from the Lower Nature Conservation Authority at the Environment Agency. The lecture will take place at the nature conservation centre, Adelsbergstraße 192. Admission is free.

Over 130 different species of breeding birds have already been recorded in Chemnitz. Many bird species can also be observed in our region in winter and during migration to their wintering grounds or on their homeward journey in spring. Many of these bird species are currently declining or endangered.

In this illustrated presentation, interested parties will receive up-to-date information on the protection and occurrence of birdlife in Chemnitz.
