Lecture at the nature conservation centre: With love arrows and rasping tongues
A lecture on snails followed by a short excursion is part of the programme of monthly events organised by the voluntary nature conservation service on Tuesday, 23 April. The speaker will be Katrin Schniebs from the Senckenberg Museum in Dresden. In her lecture "With love arrows and rasping tongues - native snails on the (slime) trail", she will report on the special features and curiosities of this group of animals, which is often unjustly prejudiced.
The event in the citizens' room of the nature conservation centre at Adelsbergstraße 192 starts at 5 pm. Nature conservation helpers and all other citizens interested in the topic are cordially invited to the free lecture followed by a short excursion.
The Chemnitz-Adelsberg Nature Conservation Centre can be reached by tram line 5 to the Pappelhain stop or by car via Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße.
