LAUTES TAUB art project thematises addiction
Mobile Performance as a guest in Chemnitz on Sunday, 27 May
Next Sunday, 27 May, the artistic project LAUTES TAUB will draw attention to the topic of addiction prevention. The artists Magdalena Weniger and Jana Maria Köder will be guests in Chemnitz and, supported by a sophisticated light and sound design, want to encourage people to think about addiction and addictions. They will be at the Red Tower at 4 pm and at Konkordiapark at 5 pm.
The performance LAUTES TAUB confronts the audience with questions such as:
How does a substance choreograph action, our everyday lives into, for example, tension, relaxation, repetition, etc.? How do we define consumption, addiction and dependency?
Image, language and movement are used to illustrate the states and uprisings of substance-influenced lives. The mobile performance in the confined space of a VAN "zooms in" on real reality like a telescope in order to scrutinise it together at the same time.
