From today, interested parties can register for guided tours at Spätschicht 2025. The day of action takes place on Friday, 14 November, and once again invites job seekers and interested parties to get to know companies in Chemnitz, the Erzgebirgskreis, Central Saxony and the Zwickau district.
During guided tours of 100 participating companies and institutions, visitors can gain insights into production processes, talk to employees and make contacts for their own career orientation. The tours are free of charge and can be booked online at www.industriekultur-chemnitz.de.
Silvana Bergk, Head of the City of Chemnitz's Department of Economic Affairs: "The late shift is a model of success for the entire Chemnitz economic region. It brings people and companies together, opens up exciting insights and at the same time strengthens regional cooperation. We are very pleased that we have been able to attract important partners such as Chemnitz University of Technology and Fraunhofer ENAS." It is particularly pleasing that both established crowd-pullers such as the VW engine plant and numerous newcomers are represented. For example, the Freie Presse media group is offering insights into the media house for the first time and Chemnitz Hospital is showing the new cardiology centre for the first time.
With its wide range of industries, Spätschicht not only offers a look behind the scenes for the general public, but also gives employers and job seekers the opportunity to make contact and gain insights into different fields of work.
