Late shift 2024 in Chemnitz and the economic region

On Friday, 15 November, the Late Shift 2024 will take place in Chemnitz, the Erzgebirgskreis, Central Saxony and the district of Zwickau.

Job seekers and interested parties can gain insights into companies and manufacturing businesses and talk to employees during factory tours. They can get to know the companies as potential employers at first hand and use the personal contact for career guidance. The variety of participating companies from a wide range of sectors provides insights into a wide range of fields of activity.

Silvana Bergk, Head of the City of Chemnitz's Business Division: "The Late Shift is of immense importance for the entire economic region, as it has been successfully established as a joint project for years. It offers guests the opportunity to get to know a large number of companies in the entire economic region. At the same time, it also promotes close co-operation and economic exchange in our region.
Of course, I am particularly pleased that numerous companies from Chemnitz are once again taking part in the late shift, including many crowd favourites from previous years. Visitors can also experience exciting newcomers this year: City-Bahn Chemnitz and Schilderwerk Beutha will be part of the Spätschicht for the first time."
