From Monday, 23 June, only one lane of the city-bound carriageway of Leipziger Straße between Max-Planck-Straße and Friedrich-Schlöffel-Straße will be open to traffic. The right-hand lane of both carriageways will be closed due to construction work.
The traffic restriction will be lifted at weekends, i.e. from Friday after the end of work until the start of work on Monday.
On behalf of inetz GmbH, work is being carried out on the gas pipeline in this area. During fault clearance, it was determined that urgent work is required to secure the gas network. The work will continue until 8 August 2025.
The lane restriction on Leipziger Straße will also be fully lifted on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, due to a major concert on Küchwaldwiese.
