KLUB 2025 supports the Capital of Culture application

Invitation to the press conference: Tuesday, 12 February, 2 p.m., Chemnitz City Hall

"Culture needs business - business needs culture" is the motto of the newly founded KLUB 2025, which will be presenting itself to the public for the first time at the Mayor's press conference on 12 February at 2 p.m. in City Hall, Room 118.

The initiative from regional companies, chambers and credit institutions would like to contribute to the expansion of cultural offerings in Chemnitz and the region by providing financial resources and fuelling the bid to become European Capital of Culture 2025.


The idea of combining culture and business for the mutual benefit of both sides is now becoming a reality thanks to a dialogue between the city, the Capital of Culture Office and the two credit institutions Volksbank Chemnitz and Sparkasse Chemnitz.
