Kelly Family" concert on 6 December
Traffic information and parking facilities at the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre
On Friday, 6 December, the "Kelly Family" concert will take place at Messe Chemnitz from 7.30 pm. From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the Chemnitz-Süd exit area and on Neefestraße. Please find attached an overview map showing the risk of traffic jams on the A72 motorway, Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße.
To avoid traffic jams on Neefestraße, signs will be erected indicating an alternative route to the exhibition centre via Neefestraße - Südring - Gewerbegebiet Winklhoferstraße.
Please be sure to follow the alternative routes indicated:
Approach via the motorway A4/ AS Mitte
Leipziger Straße - Reichsstraße - Zwickauer Straße
Approach via the A72 motorway/ AS Rottluff
Kalkstraße - Limbacher Straße - Reichsstraße - Zwickauer Straße
Traffic information: Construction work will be taking place at the Chemnitz-Rottluff junction from 4 to 21 December. This involves the closure of the exit onto Kalkstraße from the direction of Hof and the slip road from Kalkstraße in the direction of Leipzig. The slip road in the direction of Hof and the exit from Leipzig will remain unaffected.
To speed up the filling of the car parks, Wandererstraße will be one-way from Jaenickestraße in the direction of
direction "Solaris" as a one-way street.
