Invitation to the photo session on Friday, 16 June, 1 p.m.
Tomorrow, Friday, the Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff Bridge (former Kaßberg slip road) will receive its nameplate in time for the start of the German Road Cycling Championships.
The stonemason's workshop will install the two signs at 1 p.m., one plaque each on the inbound and outbound side of the bridge.
The city council had decided to honour the lifetime achievements of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff (born on 1 December 1884 in Chemnitz, died on 10 August 1976 in Berlin). August 1976 in Berlin) and on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the "Brücke" artists' group co-founded by Schmidt-Rottluff, the city council decided to name the bridge to the Kaßberg driveway "Karl-Schmidt-Rottluff-Brücke".
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to a photo opportunity on the bridge tomorrow, Friday 16 June, at 1 pm.
