Kaleidoscope concert at the municipal music school
"Sturm und Drang in Western Europe" on 30 June, 11 a.m.
On Sunday, 30 June 2019 at 11 a.m., teachers from the Municipal Music School will present a matinee concert entitled "Sturm und Drang in Western Europe" in collaboration with the Chemnitz Music Society.
In this varied concert, a guitar quintet will perform William Boyce's Concerto in E minor. There will be music for accordion and mandolin by Franz Benda, the Sonata in A major by Ludwig van Beethoven for cello and piano and Romances by Clara Schumann for violin and piano. As fireworks at the end of the concert, you will hear piano music for six hands by Wilhelm Friedrich Ernst Bach and Jacques Castérède.
More than 20 teachers from the Municipal Music School will be performing.
The concert will take place in the concert hall of the Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1.
Admission costs 15 euros, concessions 10 euros.
