Chemnitz Young Nature Guards invite you to join in
All children, young people and interested parties are cordially invited to take part in the "Stone Snake" project and thus in the "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz" programme.
Draw what you associate with nature, the environment, environmental protection, the Young Nature Guards and our nature conservation centre. It can be your favourite animal or your favourite plant. There are no limits to your creativity. We will start with the "JuNa" owl. (see photos)
In due course, an art object, a stone snake, will be created from it. But more is not yet revealed!
The campaign is a joint project of the City of Chemnitz Environmental Agency, the "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz" project and the Adelsberger Str. 192 nature conservation centre.
Keyword Young Nature Guards Chemnitz: Children and young people can experience, discover and learn to protect nature with the "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz". They are part of the "Young Nature Guards Saxony" programme, which aims to recruit the next generation of nature conservationists. The "Young Nature Guards of Saxony" programme aims to get children and young people interested in nature conservation and train them to become young and old "experts". Perhaps they will later even become active as nature conservation helpers? They are needed everywhere. They observe nature, provide information about it and are an important part of nature conservation in Saxony. For example, the nature conservation assistants also provide support with mapping tasks or take care of special protected areas.
Since 2021, the "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz" have been based at the Chemnitz Nature Conservation Centre, Adelsbergstr. 192, and not only supervise the "AG Chemnitzer NATUREntdecker", but also offer training to become "Young Nature Guards", JuNa for short.
The "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz" are based on the curriculum of the "Young Nature Guards Saxony" programme, which we implement together with experts (nature conservation assistants, educators, teachers, environmental educators, beekeepers, hunters, farmers, etc.). We offer a variety of environmental, nature and adventure education events, conferences and activities. The "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz" focus on nature and adventure-based educational approaches that are designed to inspire enthusiasm for environmental protection and nature conservation.
All children and young people interested in nature can join the "Young Nature Guards Chemnitz".
