Jour Fixe on cultural education
Next Monday, 25 March at 5 pm, the Cultural Education Contact Point is inviting representatives from educational institutions and cultural stakeholders to a jour fixe at the Neue Sächsische Galerie.
The cultural organisation will present the state-wide concept for cultural education for children and young people. There will also be an overview of the city of Chemnitz's cultural strategy, with a special focus on cultural education.
Dr Nadja Anders, Head of the State Office for Schools and Education, will then give a keynote speech on the importance of cultural education: What it stands for and how it can be strengthened.
