JOUR FIXE Cultural education via video chat
On Monday, 19 April, from 2 to 4 p.m., representatives of educational institutions and cultural stakeholders from all sectors in the Chemnitz cultural area are invited to the JOUR FIXE Cultural Education on the topic of "New Funding Guideline Art + Culture 2021". The event will take place as a ZOOM meeting, i.e. via online connection.
Katrin Franz, Head of Cultural Management, Cultural Strategy in the Cultural Department of the City of Chemnitz, will present the new Art and Culture funding guideline. Tobias Möller, Coordinator of the umbrella organisation work of the Network for Culture and Youth Work and Cultural Advisory Board "Socioculture", provides information on the individual advisory services in the area of cultural funding and gives tips on how to apply for funding. Egmont Elschner, Chairman of the Cultural Advisory Board of the City of Chemnitz, will provide an assessment of the objectives and benefits of the new funding guidelines, including with regard to the thematic funding priorities as part of the 2018-30 cultural strategy and the Chemnitz2025 agenda. This will be followed by an opportunity to discuss the current situation in education and culture and to analyse the situation.
