Johanneum Christmas fulfils over 300 children's wishes

On Tuesday, 9 December at 4 p.m., the children and young people who are looked after by the independent organisation Freundeskreis "Indira Gandhi" e. V. will receive a special surprise during their Christmas party at the Hotel Residenz Chemnitz, Bernsdorfer Straße 2. The "Johanneum" Children and Youth Foundation and eins energie in sachsen GmbH will be presenting gifts that have been selected from the wish lists. This is the first stop of this year's "Johanneum Christmas" campaign.
Representatives of the press are invited to attend.
More than 300 lovingly designed wish lists were received by the Johanneum Children's and Youth Foundation for this year's Johanneum Christmas. Thanks to the foundation's own funds and the support of dedicated employees from the companies eins energie in sachsen GmbH, Südsachsen Wasser GmbH, GGG, Sachsenallee, VBFA e. V. and the public institutions Jobcenter Chemnitz and the City of Chemnitz, it was possible to fulfil these wishes.
The Johanneum Christmas has been an integral part of the foundation's work for many years. The aim is to bring joy to children and young people from Chemnitz and the surrounding area during the Advent season and to show them that their wishes and dreams are taken seriously.
For the children, this not only means special joy, but also the feeling of being seen and valued. The campaign shows how important community involvement is to give young people prospects and enjoyable experiences.
The foundation has been supporting children and young people in Chemnitz for many years. With projects, holiday activities and cultural initiatives, it creates spaces for education, creativity and community. The Johanneum Christmas is a highlight in the annual calendar, which is made possible by the support of numerous partners.
