Joachim Eilers signs the city's Golden Book

On Tuesday 12 December at 2 p.m., Chemnitz track cyclist Joachim Eilers will sign the city's Golden Book. For the first time, this honour will take place on the main stage of the popular Chemnitz Christmas market.
After 2013, 2014 and 2016, this is the fourth time Eilers has signed the city's Golden Book. This time, his impressive performances at the 2017 European Track Cycling Championships in Berlin will be honoured. The 27-year-old was runner-up in both the team sprint and the 1000 metre time trial.
