Invitation to the tree protection working group

The Environmental Centre invites interested parties to join the Tree Protection Working Group on Tuesday, 27 August at 6 pm. As the name suggests, the main aim of the group is to protect the city's trees. To kick off the working group, ideas for activities to strengthen Chemnitz's street trees will be collected and information will be provided about tree sponsorships and the greening of tree discs.
Background: The Environmental Centre has been organising citizen participation in the context of global sustainable development for decades. In working groups on the topics of mobility, ecology, energy, fair procurement, changing values and basic income, interested parties from the public, civil society, administration etc. meet every month to inform each other, discuss, plan events and develop and realise projects.
