Invitation to the residents' meeting
Live broadcast and in-person event on 15 October, from 5 to 7.30 pm
On Friday, 15 October, from 5 to 7.30 pm, the City of Chemnitz invites all citizens of the city to a residents' meeting. The event will be broadcast live. Residents of the Mitte and Mitte-West districts will also have the opportunity to talk to city representatives in person.
Live broadcast for the entire city population from 5 to 6 pm
The Lord Mayor, the mayors and a representative of Chemnitz Hospital will provide information on current city issues. Furthermore, questions submitted by citizens on general public issues within the City of Chemnitz's area of responsibility will be answered. The panel discussion will be broadcast live online at www.chemnitz.de and also on Sachsen-Fernsehen Chemnitz.
In-person event for residents of the city centre and centre-west areas from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
In parallel to the live broadcast, interested Chemnitz residents from the Mitte and Mitte-West districts are invited to the foyer of Luxor Chemnitz, Hartmannstraße 11, 09113 Chemnitz. You can find out about current developments in these areas and address your own concerns in person. Representatives from the City of Chemnitz, ASR, CVAG, citizens' platforms, neighbourhood management and neighbourhood pilots will be available from 5 pm.
In the meantime, the live broadcast can be followed on a monitor.
From around 6.15 pm, the Lord Mayor and the mayors will also be available to answer questions in person.
