Invitation to the photo session: Prominent jerseys go under the hammer for a good cause
Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig will give the starting signal tomorrow morning at "Haus Schmetterling" for the auction of five jerseys bearing the autographs of prominent athletes from national and international clubs. Among them are Manchester United and Manchester City in the line-up of the season just ended, the DFB women's team and the national basketball team. The jerseys were presented to the Lord Mayor as a gift in recent months or were created for special occasions.
The jerseys will be auctioned via Ebay from midday today.

The proceeds will benefit two Chemnitz organisations - the parents' association for children with cancer and the KiSS children's sports school at SG Adelsberg. This is to honour their many years of outstanding work.
