Invitation to the photo session: Signing of the organising contract for the 2017 German Road Cycling Championships
Time and place: Tomorrow, Tuesday, 29 September 2015, 3:30 pm - City Hall, Grüner Salon
The city of Chemnitz has been awarded the contract to host the 2017 German Road Cycling Championships. By organising this major sporting event, the city wants to build on the great cycling tradition associated with the city's name. The bid was initiated by the two major cycling clubs in the city.
At its meeting on 9 September 2015, the Education and Sports Committee unanimously agreed to host the 2017 German Road Cycling Championships in Chemnitz. The contract to organise the championships is now ready to be signed.

in the Green Parlour of Chemnitz Town Hall
Mayor Barbara Ludwig and Peter Streng, Vice President of the German Cycling Federation, will sign the contract. Representatives of the two Chemnitz cycling clubs, on whose initiative the DM in Chemnitz is based, and the city sports association will also be available to talk to you.
Please note: The meeting will take place instead of the regular press conference of the Lord Mayor, therefore the meeting at 2.00 pm will be cancelled.
