Dear Sir or Madam
After a construction period of almost four years, the two partners, the City of Chemnitz and DeutscheBahnAG, have completed the construction work on the Dresdner Platz road bridge in Chemnitz. At the end of December 2013, the engineering structure was technically approved and fully reopened to traffic. Both partners had invested a total of around 25 million euros in the new bridge replacement.
The City of Chemnitz and Deutsche Bahn are taking this as an opportunity to jointly honour the various aspects of the construction and the significance of the project at a press conference and to officially conclude the construction work at the same time. We cordially invite you to attend this press event.
The Mayor of the City of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig, the Group Representative of Deutsche Bahn AG, Artur Stempel, the Head of the Chemnitz Civil Engineering Office, Bernd Gregorzyk, and the responsible Project Manager of DB Projektbau GmbH, Harald Dix, will be available to answer your questions.
