Invitation to a press conference: Local transport plan will be updated - information events for citizens planned

In the coming year, the local transport plan for the area covered by the Central Saxony Transport Association (ZVMS) will be updated. The city of Chemnitz will be integrated into this local transport plan as a sub-area. The central task of the city planners is to support the development of the ZVMS local transport plan in such a way that all synergy effects resulting from the Chemnitz model for the city's local public transport system can unfold in the best possible way. The evaluation of CVAG's new network will also be incorporated.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to a press conference on Monday, 27 October 2014, at 1 p.m. in room 118 at City Hall to provide information on the update process, the next step of which is to discuss the draft with citizens at three information events in November.
The discussion partners will be Bernd Gregorzyk, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and Stefan Tschök, Press Spokesman for CVAG.
