Invitation: Press accompaniment City Visit
Chemnitz presents itself digitally to the European jury on 22 October
The decision will be made on 28 October: Which German city will be European Capital of Culture 2025?
Until then, the five candidate cities still have two digital meetings with the jury. One of these will take place for Chemnitz on 22 October: the digital City Visit.
On this day, the Chemnitz2025 team, in collaboration with many Chemnitz stakeholders, will send a live broadcast from the city to the living rooms or offices of the European jury members.
On the way through the city and during discussions with project partners, the jury will get an on-site impression of the plans for Chemnitz2025. There will also be question-and-answer sessions with the jury on three thematic blocks.
We would also like to involve the media in this way - insofar as this is possible due to the jury's specifications and the tight schedule. This means that the media can accompany parts of the jury visit as mere observers. No extra picturescan be taken.

| 9.30 am to 9.50 am | We will accompany a walk on the Ikarus-Boulevard, where the narrative of the application will be presented in more detail |
Meeting point: 11.20 am | at the Red Tower |
| 11.30 am to 12.20 pm | We will accompany a walk through the city centre, during which the artistic programme will be presented and the status of the preparations (political support, financial security, management, communication) will be discussed. |
