Investor selection procedure: Deadline extended
The deadline for submitting bids for the advertised city centre districts has been extended.
The building plots in Quartier E4 - "Neue Johannisvorstadt" and Quartier E3 - "Carrée am Tietz" are to be sold as part of a non-formal two-stage investor selection process. The invitation to tender for the building plots was issued on 27 April 2016 and the deadline for submitting an indicative purchase price offer, including a usage and development concept, has been extended from 27 July 2016 (previously) to 31 August 2016 (now).
The city is thus responding to requests from interested investors who have submitted corresponding requests due to the holiday period and the realisation of ongoing projects and the associated staff shortages. The City of Chemnitz would like to attract economically potent and reliable investors for the further development of these city centre sites.
