The adult education centre invites you to an online lecture on waste disposal in Chemnitz on Wednesday, 2 December, from 7 to 8.30 pm. The waste advice team from Abfallentsorgungs- und Stadtreinigungsbetrieb Chemnitz (ASR) will explain how to dispose of waste and answer practical questions.
Participation is free of charge. Anyone interested can register by 4 p.m. on 2 December at www.vhs-chemnitz.de or 0371 488 4343 and will then receive an access link by email.
The lecture follows the traces of our waste. Every day we throw things in the bin: kitchen waste, paper, glass, packaging and much more. But what actually happens to the different types of waste? Where is it taken and how is it disposed of? What is recovered and how? What is important to know and how can recycling be further improved?
In the city of Chemnitz, the ASR is the city's own waste disposal company, providing a daily service for around 130,000 households. On this evening, useful tips and advice on how to dispose of waste properly will be provided at first hand.
