Stefan Heym's novel "Ahasver", first published in 1981, presents an angel as the title character who acts on three narrative levels (biblical-mythical level, Reformation period and 1979 to 1981). The lecture will explain how the text (including collections of material, preparatory work and manuscripts) is to be digitally edited and annotated using the editing concept and selected examples.
A joint event organised by Chemnitz University of Technology, Faculty of Philosophy, and the International Stefan Heym Society.
