International Safer Internet Day

Municipal Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz invites you to the action week in Chemnitz from 3 to 9 February

As every year, the international Safer Internet Day (SID) will take place in February 2021. This day of action is a day of participation: whether school, youth centre or library - institutions and individuals - can set an example for a better Internet through their own actions and events.

The action week for Chemnitz will take place from 3 to 9 February 2021. Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.

The cooperation partners - the State Office for Schools and Education/Chemnitz site, the Chemnitz Police Directorate, Chemnitz City Library, the Saxon Training andchsische Ausbildungs- und Erprobungskanal Chemnitz (SAEK), the Children and Youth Commissioner of the City of Chemnitz, solaris Jugend- und Umweltwerkstätten and the Municipal Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz - offer a varied programme as the "Prevention in a Team" network.

The organisation team provides attractive workshops and information events under the title "Together for a better Internet", which are aimed at a broad target group. Educational staff, parents and children will find interesting facts about the digital world during the action week.

Due to the Corona Protection Ordinance, all programmes are available digitally. Registration takes place locally with the respective organiser. The events are generally free of charge.
