Installation of play equipment in various playgrounds
The City of Chemnitz Parks Department is currently replacing worn-out play equipment at nine different playgrounds in the city.
This concerns the playgrounds Flemmingstraße/Seitental, Frei-Otto-Park, Limbacher Straße/Gemeindepark Röhrsdorf, Park Schönau, Rödelwaldstraße, Bodelschwinghplatz, Genossenschaftsplatz Glösa, Schneller Markt and Am Lehngut/Am Sportplatz in Euba.
Double swings, seesaws and various spring rockers from the City of Chemnitz's play equipment depot will be installed or replaced.
Work began in mid-September and is expected to be completed by mid-November.
In addition to the general refurbishment of playgrounds in the city, individual pieces of equipment are also regularly replaced or new play equipment added in order to upgrade the playgrounds accordingly.
