Insights into the world of insects
Adult Education Centre: Insect Summer on 6 June, from 1 pm, Nature Conservation Centre in the Botanical Garden, Leipziger Straße 147
On Monday, 6 June, from 1 to 4.45 pm, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre, together with the Erzgebirge Regional Nature Conservation Association (NABU), invites interested parties to an event that provides an insight into the world of insects. Ideas for the protection and conservation of insects will be presented at the nature conservation centre in the Botanical Garden, Leipziger Straße 147.

Many insect species are acutely affected by a lack of habitats and their populations are endangered. At NABU's "Insect Summer" on 6 June, interested parties can therefore find out about the background and measures for biodiversity in a very practical way. The little crawlers can be searched for with beaker magnifiers and identified under expert guidance.
In addition, rose chafer beetles, woodlice and millipedes can be marvelled at in terrariums and even touched. Insect protection can then be directly implemented by building an insect hotel for your own garden or balcony.
