Insights into the treasure trove of the Chemnitz City Library
Guided tour of the cellar magazine on 16 January, 5 p.m.
On Wednesday 16 January at 5 pm, the city library invites you to a special guided tour through the cellar magazine. History and stories come to life with the help of selected treasures from the city library.
Among other things, visitors can see and marvel at a medieval manuscript, the first prints according to the Gutenberg process, so-called incunabula, occasional writings from the former Chemnitz Latin School and sources relating to the founding of the city library in 1869.
The meeting point is in the TIETZ foyer at the Petrified Forest. Admission is free.
