Assemblies and events of various political orientations have been registered for 1 May in Chemnitz. These gatherings will take place in Chemnitz city centre. For example, the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) will hold its traditional May Day rally on Neumarkt square.
Information on the traffic situation and parking:
Brückenstraße will be closed on Wednesday from 8 am to 10 am. Stopping restrictions on Brückenstraße on the side of the Karl Marx Monument will be in place on Wednesday from 6 am to 10 am. There will also be stopping restrictions on Brauhausstraße between Annenstraße and Moritzstraße from 10 am to 9 pm.
