Information from the traffic authorities on the Roland Kaiser open-air concert on Hartmannplatz
Next Saturday, 29 July, Roland Kaiser's open-air concert will take place on Hartmannplatz: Admission is at 6 pm and the concert starts at 8 pm. The organiser is expecting around 10,000 visitors.
Hartmannstraße will be closed between Bergstraße/Kaßbergstraße and Schloßstraße/Fabrikstraße from 3 pm on Saturday 29 July until 2 am on Sunday 30 July.
30 July, 2 a.m. (regular traffic, taxis, bicycle traffic free). The car park on Hartmannstraße (opposite the police station) will also be closed from 7 a.m. on Saturday 29 July to ensure safety during set-up work.
Visitors to the concert are requested to use public transport. The concert ticket is also valid as a ticket (combined ticket) for the Mittelsachsen public transport network (VMS). The combined ticket entitles the holder to use public transport free of charge four hours before and up to six hours after the start of the event, i.e. from Saturday, 4 pm to Sunday, 2 am
Visitors arriving by car are requested to use the parking spaces in the Chemnitz Center or the city centre car parks indicated on the map. As a service, the organiser will provide free special buses from Hartmannstraße to the Chemnitz Center after the end of the event.
