Information from the traffic authorities: Information for visitors travelling by car to the Mario Barth guest performances on 19 and 20 October in the Chemnitz Arena
The traffic authority of the City of Chemnitz asks visitors arriving by car at the events in the Chemnitz Arena to pay attention and at the same time points out that traffic jams must be expected on the A 72 motorway in the area of the Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße when approaching the event.
In order to ensure speedy access to the Chemnitz Arena car parks, the green light time for left turns from Neefestraße into Jaenickestraße will be extended. Road users are requested to follow the instructions of the stewards on site.
Free travel with the admission ticket and shuttle service: With the ticket for the guest performance, free travel is possible on both days of the event throughout the entire Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (VMS) from four hours before and up to six hours after the event.
CVAG is also offering additional journeys, thus relieving the burden on public transport: the shuttle service between the main railway station - central bus stop - Chemnitz Arena will be provided by additional buses. Journeys will be made from the central station (M 1) at 7.30 pm at the start of the event and from Chemnitz main station at 8 am and 6.30 pm (information online: www.cvag.de).
Buses will be available at the Chemnitz Arena bus stop after the event on both days. The last departures from Messe Chemnitz in the direction of the main railway station are 22:45 (night connection 23:10 from the central bus stop) and 23:20 (night connection 23:10 from the central bus stop).
