Information from the rescue association: Tender for rescue services is cancelled
The resolution on the invitation to tender for rescue services dated 18 April 2013 for the Chemnitz - Erzgebirge rescue association is cancelled. The reason for the cancellation is that a member of the association council was biased in the corresponding vote and the tender therefore lost its legal basis.
This is the result of today's special meeting of the association. The association assembly will formally decide on the cancellation at a meeting on 1 July.
The next procedural steps will be decided at one of the association's next meetings.
Rescue service provision was and is guaranteed at all times.
