Information about the Herbert Grönemeyer concert on 12 May in the Chemnitz Arena

Anfahrtsmöglichkeiten Herbert-Grönemeyer-Konzert

On Tuesday, 12 May 2015, the Herbert Grönemeyer concert will take place in the Chemnitz Arena at 8 pm. In the period from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway near the Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße.

In order to ensure rapid access to the Chemnitz Arena car parks, the green light time for left turns from Neefestraße into Jaenickestraße will be extended. Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street.

Please follow the signs on the car parks and the instructions of the stewards.
The concert ticket entitles you to free travel throughout the Central Saxony Transport Authority (VMS) from 4 hours before and up to 6 hours after the event (combined ticket).
After the end of the event, Messe Chemnitz will operate special buses. Buses will be waiting at the Jaenickestraße bus stop. The last departures from Messe Chemnitz in the direction of the main railway station will be at 10.58 pm and 11.28 pm (night connection 23.45 pm central bus stop).
