In search of clues to the NSU complex

Adult education centre: Walk through the former Heckert area on 28 October

On Saturday, 28 October, from 11 a.m. to 1.15 p.m., the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre and ASA-FF e. V. are once again inviting you to take a walk through the former Fritz Heckert area. On the one hand, the architectural, social and political history of the neighbourhood will be examined and, on the other, the question of the extent to which the district functioned as a place of residence, networking space and crime scene for the NSU will be addressed.

Participation in the Critical Walk is free of charge. The meeting point will be announced after registration. This is possible online at www.vhs-chemnitz.de/kurs/W2310116 or by telephone on 0371 488 4343.

The walk will visit specific locations where members of the NSU network lived and committed crimes. Questions will also be asked about how the NSU network was anchored in Chemnitz and what a locally connected reappraisal might look like.

This event is a co-operation between the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre and ASA-FF e. V. Chemnitz. It is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
