Im Neefepark road will be closed for three days
Parts for the supporting structure of the bridge are being removed again
From Monday, 11 December, 7 am to Wednesday, 13 December, 6 pm, the street Im Neefepark (passage under the Neefestraße bridge) will be fully closed to traffic. This is necessary for safety reasons, as the parts for the supporting structure of the concreted bridge construction and the formwork have to be removed.
The traffic routing required during this time is shown in the attached overview.
- Access to Neefepark will be from the direction of the city centre and from the direction of Grüna/Mittelbach via Neefestraße, Carl-von-Bach-Straße and Tuchschererstraße.
- Access to Neefepark from the A72 motorway is still possible via Neefestraße and Im Neefepark.
- The exit from Neefepark is via Tuchschererstraße.
- The Clemens-Winkler-Straße industrial estate can be reached at any time via the landward Neefestraße carriageway (access and exit). Access from the direction of Grüna/Mittelbach is not possible via Tuchschererstraße, Neefepark, Im Neefepark Straße during this time. In this case, access must also be via the landward carriageway Neefestraße.
Bus services (lines 23, 43, 93) will be diverted. CVAG will publish passenger information on this.
Various closure times were analysed in advance for this technologically demanding measure. Several companies are involved in planning the complex and precisely coordinated operations. The optimal procedure for dismantling and removing the large components will be carried out using special transport and represents a logistical challenge. Everyone involved is endeavouring to keep the dismantling and closure times as short as possible.
