Illuminated photo point "I love C" in the heart of the city

On Wednesday, 9 February at 10 a.m., Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will inaugurate an illuminated photo point with the lettering "I love C" on Chemnitz's Neumarkt square. This gives Chemnitz city centre another trendy photo motif.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
The photo point in the shape of a heart is intended to encourage Chemnitz residents and visitors to show their commitment to Chemnitz with "I love C". The five by two metre installation offers the opportunity to capture positive experiences and moments in beautiful photo motifs and spread them beyond the city limits via various channels.
The photo point can be set up as a mobile version at various locations and can also be used for other event formats, for example. It is now being used for the first time at the Chemnitz Ice Magic.
The cost of the photo point is 15,700 euros. It was financed by the city centre fund of the city of Chemnitz. The fund supports measures that revitalise the city centre and improve the quality of life.
