Icon for FamilienApp Chemnitz found
The icon for the new family app has now been chosen. 38 per cent of respondents who took part in the vote opted for this variant.
1,300 citizens took part in the voting, which was open from 6 to 20 August.
In future, the winning icon with its fresh design will serve as a recognisable symbol on the user interface of the FamilienApp Chemnitz and also as the start button for the app on mobile phones after downloading.
The FamilyApp will be launched in a few weeks and will provide news, information and important emergency numbers as well as videos and downloads relating to the life issues of families, teenagers and young adults conveniently on mobile phones. An advice section, which covers the age categories from pregnancy to young adults as well as many accompanying topics such as health or education, and a full calendar of events complete the family app.
Providers of family education and youth work as well as advice centres and leisure facilities have the opportunity to register free of charge and enter their events under the link: chemnitz.familienbildung.app/anbieter.
Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky will host a press conference on 23 September at 2.30 pm to introduce the new family app. You will receive a separate press release for this.
