Ice hockey team from twin city Tampere as guests
Invitation to the photo session: Mayor Miko Runkel receives ice hockey team from Finnish twin town on 3 February, 1 pm, in the city council chamber
On Friday 3 February at 1 pm, Mayor Miko Runkel will welcome the NäätäHokkey ice hockey team from the twin city of Tampere to the City Council Chamber of Chemnitz City Hall.
Media representatives are cordially invited to attend.
The NäätäHokkey ice hockey team, a team of former active and passionate players from various Tampere ice hockey clubs, will be visiting the Chemnitz Ice Sports Centre on 4 February 2017 for the 8th edition of the International Kieselstein Cup.
Following the reception, the guests will be given a guided tour of the town hall with a tour of the tower.
On 20 April, the Chemnitz counterpart, the Kieselstein Cracks, which is also a team of former active and passionate ice hockey players, will travel to Tampere for a return visit. The team will take part in a tournament there in honour of the 20th anniversary of the NäätäHokkey ice hockey club.
