From today until 20 May, pupils from the Untere Luisenschule are exhibiting works entitled "I am Europe" in the exhibition room of the town hall, Markt 1, as part of the Europe Weeks 2026. The exhibition can be viewed daily during the regular opening hours of the town hall.
Pupils from years 5 to 9 are presenting a total of 12 exhibits that were created across all classes. Under the guidance of their teacher Katarina Seidel, they artistically explored topics such as the movement of Europe, mobility, flight and home as well as European identity.
Old atlases and maps from the school were used to create a variety of works - from collages and pictures to three-dimensional objects. The works reflect different perspectives on Europe and show how young people perceive and shape their environment.
On Wednesday, 20 May at 3 pm, interested parties are invited to the finissage in the exhibition room of the town hall. Katarina Seidel, the teacher responsible, will present the project.
