Invitation to the photo session: Tuesday, 17 September, 10 a.m., Grüner Salon in the town hall

On Tuesday, 17 September, two teachers and 11 trainees from the "Szily Kálmán" vocational school centre in the Hungarian capital Budapest will visit EU Coordinator Pia Sachs and Migration Officer Etelka Kobuß at City Hall. They will receive an overview and information about the city of Chemnitz and its industrial history as well as current European work. The reception will take place at 10 a.m. in the Green Parlour of the City Hall.

Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event.

The educators and trainees are visiting Chemnitz as part of the EU project "New waves of engineering and information technology in Central Europe" from the Erasmus+ programme. The young people are taking part in various workshops at Bildungs-Werkstatt Chemnitz gGmbH, e.g. on the topics of technical design, 3D printing and building a solar mobile. The Chemnitz partner is solaris Förderzentrum für Jugend und Umwelt gGmbH, which is organising a competition in Leipzig on 4 October 2019, where the Hungarian young people can enter the models they have created into the race.
