Hospitals in Germany. Structures - Reforms - Problems

Adult education centre: Online lecture on 5 May, 7.30 to 9 p.m.

On Thursday, 5 May, from 7.30 pm to 9 pm, the adult education centre is inviting interested parties to an online lecture on the hospital landscape and the pillars of healthcare in Germany. In his lecture, Prof Dr Thomas Gerlinger will ask about the future of hospital care: What are the challenges in the coming years? What reforms have there been recently? The remuneration of services and working conditions in hospitals will also be discussed.

An access link will be sent out on the day of the lecture.

Thomas Gerlinger is a professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Bielefeld University and head of the working group "Health Systems, Health Policy and Health Sociology". After the lecture, a digital exchange with the speaker is possible.

The online event is part of the series "vhs.wissen live - the digital science programme" as a cooperation between the adult education centres in Chemnitz, Esslingen district and SüdOst in Munich district.
