Holiday tours of the zoo and wildlife park
Friends of the zoo donate interactive rainforest board

During the autumn holidays in Saxony, the zoo is once again offering a short tour of certain animal species every day at 11 am. The tour starts next Monday with the parrots. Further information can be found on the homepage or in the display case in front of the zoo entrance or can be requested by telephone.
There are also show feedings in the wildlife enclosure on weekdays at 11 a.m.: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with lynx and wolf, Tuesdays and Thursdays with mouflon and wild boar.

The zoo supporters' association "Tierparkfreunde Chemnitz e.V." has donated an interactive rainforest panel to the zoo. It was set up in the foyer of the tropical house and offers young and old sensory impressions of the rainforest.
